Update

A little Update on the Kids!

Cole is doing pretty good in school. He is in first grade and I think he is really enjoying it. His Math is awesome and his handwriting and spelling are slowing coming, but he is really trying to read his books he brings home from school and I think he does pretty well! He comes home talking about his friends and how he wants to have them over to play video games (soon we will be doing this)! He has a routine though of going out and playing with the neighborhood kids after school. There are about 6 or 7 kids on the block so that is really nice! Other than school he is really enjoying the playstation2. He is into the LEGO games. Cole was playing soccer but that is over now and its time to start deciding which spring sport we are going to play... soccer again, slow/machine pitch baseball, football, or something totally new. I guess we will see what he wants!

Grant is going to preschool 4 days a week for 4 hours and he loves it!! He loves his little buddies and his teacher most of all! If you have seen the video I posted yesterday, you will see he is quite the speller! He is always wanting to do his homework and always asks how you spell things. We make up little rhymes so he can remember the words easily! Grant really enjoys his Fridays since he is home with mom (and sometimes dad if he is not working). Today he wants to bake some cookies... peanut butter blossoms!! yumm! He is quite the little helper when it comes to cooking, baking, and even laundry! So far Grant hasn't showed any interest in trying soccer. He is old enough and I think it would be just a hoot watching him but he just likes to ride his bike and play out back in the sandbox.
(This is a 'monster truck' that was parked on the street right by our house! Boys thought it was pretty cool!)
Little Sylvia is sure growing! She has been sleeping through the night for sometime now but is starting to wake up about 3 or 4 in the morning. She is starting to teeth so that means crabby baby and the diarrhea that comes with it! The doctor said she has the ridges there in front so anytime those should be popping through!
We had to buy a sound machine once Syl got out of her bassinet. The only way she will go to sleep at night is with the sound of rain or running water. Its quite funny but I guess that is what she likes! Syl is eating cereal in a bottle once (sometimes twice) a day. She is trying to eat from a spoon too and that is pretty entertaining to watch! Her last Dr. visit was for her 4 months and she is doing great! She is weighing in at 11 lbs 1 oz and was 23 inches long (i think??). She is on the lower end for the percentiles but still healthy. The Dr. was a little just a little concerned on the cir. of her head and wants x-rays to be sure the bones haven't grown together already. She is sure everything is fine but just wants to be sure. She is just a little petite baby! :)

Other than that everyone is doing well and staying healthy! Daron still working his confusing shifts at Pinal Energy and I'm home with the kids. I'm thinking about getting a part-time job when Daron is home just to bring in some extra $$. Graice Lou is doing great! Still same ol' Lou-Be Lou (what grant calls her).
We are enjoying the winter down here! Its been in the low to mid 70's lately and it so nice out! I know we pay for it in the summer with the 120's but again its not terrible. That's it for now!!
