Goodbye Iowa

Well, our trip is coming to an end. Our 2 week visit turned into a 3 week visit! This time tomorrow, we will be settling back into the desert heat!
I'm so happy that we got to see almost all the family but I'm so ready to go home! I miss my house, my bed, my pup, and most of all the hubby! I'm so tired of living out of a suitcase as well! I know the kids will be happy to get home and back into routines, but I imagine since we have been up here for so long, they will have to adjust to not having Gmas and Gpas around.
So we round out this trip on one more good note! We've seen most all the family! We've had some relaxing time at the pool, made it to the zoo, spent some time at the fair, and saw some super wonderful friends! Most of all, it has been nice to just do nothing and hang out. I wish I could have seen more friends, but I'm thankful we got to see who we saw!
So now we are on our way home from Ankeny and have one last evening in Eldora. I believe it will be spent packing all our suitcases and saying goodbyes! Oh yea, can't forget that sweet corn! Going to pack a few dozen in my carry on! Yes, it is that bad. We can't get {GOOD} sweet corn down in AZ so I have to resort to smuggling some on the plane!
It was a great trip, but now time to go home! Ahhh, home sweet home...
Once we are home and get unpacked, (umm, maybe I shouldn't wait til I'm unpacked since I have a tendency to let my suitcase go for a week or two! Ha!) I will catch up on everything we've done the last month or two! Lots of pictures!
