Scratch.... Scratch....

Yes, I have Shingles! It's uncomfortable and just so itchy, painful, and gross! The burning is just as bad also!  I know, I know... your not supposed to scratch. I'm doing my best! Oh yea, did I mention GROSS!
I started with an itchy back about a week ago from what I thought was an insect bite. Well, a rash appeared along my ribcage all the way to my belly button and it really started to get painful so I went to the doctor. Figured I would be sent away with the diagnosis of  "You have an allergic reaction... use cortisone cream."  Uh... I guess I am happy I went in! Apparently I have been stressed... hmmmm?? Anyway, got some meds so hopefully this will be healed soon!
Since I'm the only one in the house that has had chicken pox, I was worried about the kids {and D} getting it, but the doctor said I wasn't contagious as long as no one touched the rash who hadn't recieved the chicken pox vaccination. Everyone is covered, but I don't think we will have any issues there! Ha!

Tomorrow we are going to a haunted house! Can't wait! What a way to ease that apparent stress, huh! Well, it will get my mind off the itching!
