Merry Christmas D

A long awaited Christmas gift finally came about a week ago for D! Back in October, I got D a racing package through DriveTech Racing School where he would get to drive a real race car by himself on the track at Phoenix International Raceway. He got 12 laps to do as he pleased!
The rain held off and Friday after school, we grabbed the boys and off to Avondale we went! Sylvia stayed with Noelle since I figured she wouldn't like all the noise. We watched D get suited up, fitted for a helmet, and then they had a short 30 minute course on the basics of the cars and the track. The boys thought it was pretty neat to be in the pits. Not too often do people get to go in there.
It was a great time and so fun to watch D have a blast doing what he loves 'to watch'! We got some photos and video and I think D also purchased an In-the-car-camera video which recorded his view around the track on all his laps.
You will have to ask him how fast he went...  :D
