We have been so busy the past few months! Besides the regular stuff with kiddos, school, and keeping up in the gym, we have had quite a bit going on! Just to name a few... D's parents have moved down for the winter so been enjoying having family so close and the kids been swimming.
Sylvia started gymnastics and has already moved up from the preschool class to the regular class.
We have acquired Gracie's long lost twin brother, Gary. His street name was Bullet but figured the little yapper needed a more domesticated name; therefore Gary was born! (Shoulda been Lucifer I think!)
We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Halloween, and the finale of Breaking Bad, after watching all 5 seasons in less than 3 weeks!
With the weather getting nicer, we've had football and Soccer camp and the kiddos in the gym to get their butts away from the TV and video games.
We've had a paleo challenge, took D to a Zac Brown concert, were zombies in a Zombie Run, celebrated a good friends wedding and even had quite the Halloween!
There's been new friends, reconnected with older friends, and even sent off a good friend to Wales for several months for work!
So it is safe to say ...it's been go go go for awhile!
The one thing I haven't mentioned is crossfit and our garage gym! Besides new toys to play with and some new friends working out, we have had a slew of competitions and events we've either participated in or went to cheer! I have competed in 3 competitions since mid October and been to about 5 events with another this coming up weekend. It's a lot of fun to help support the crossfit community and my friends at their events! So there has been a lot of training and traveling!! Obviously it is safe to say we love this stuff!!
The biggest crossfit news, I think, is that Daron competed in his first competition ever this past weekend. He is usually my coach and biggest cheerleader but this time he was needed to fill a spot so he took on the challenge!! I was so proud of him and his team (even though we were competing against each other!) We always will throw a lot of $h*t back and forth but it's always fun competition and we support each other more than anyone! It made it fun having him there with me, nerves and all! When I get my photos uploaded I will add more but this is what I have on my phone. Darons team, Barbellas and Barbarians and mine was the McThrusters!
Thanksgiving, more birthdays, and Christmas coming up real soon and then we start over again!! Busy, busy... I guess that's how we like it!!
