A Bittersweet Weekend

Now that we have recovered from the weekend, I think I have some time to blog about it! We went down to cheer on the Hawks in Tucson on Saturday. No need to dwell on the game since we all know what should've happened. For us, in a nut shell, it was fun but wasn't too pretty.
We had a great time before and after the game but during was, uh... well... let's just say that we should have gone to Cole's football game in Apache Junction. They played well and even won!
For real though, it was an experience being the minority down there. We had a few 'black cloud events' and I really have some bitterness against {SOME}of the U of A(hole) fans. Please excuse my wording but this is how I feel! :)
Albert M. came down to AZ for the weekend and joined us at the game! We really enjoyed his company! We did lots of walking, tailgating of course and met up with friends. Several friends that D went to school with, a guy D works with and his wife, and another wonderful Iowa native couple that resides in Tuscon (that shoulda been cheering for the Hawks! Haha!). So in that aspect we had a good trip!
