It has been about a month since we went to the Arizona Science Center. I'm just now getting around to blogging about it. After those dreaded steroid shots I had to get (note to self: don't do a lot of walking after getting them... 2 words- SWELLING & PAINFUL), D and I took Cole and Sylvia to the Science Center for their latest traveling exhibit, BodyWorlds & the Brain.
I was super excited but I think Cole was only half as excited as I was. Turned out to be a very interesting exhibit and I definitely want to go back again with Grant. He is all about 'how things work and why' so I think he would really enjoy it! Cole took to it for awhile but he was more concerned with how the specimens came to be. It is just a little graphic in a few displays, but it's all apart of human anatomy! They threated everyone with thousands of dollars in copyright fines if any pictures were taken so I figured be best just to enjoy without bringing home pictures! All you gotta do is find an exhibit near you and check it out!
After getting done at the BodyWorlds exhibit we made use out of our ticket into the Science Center and stopped on all the floors to check out all the other neat Free exhibits.
They laid on nails, used a pulley to lift their own weight, had wheelchair races, messed with electricity, magnetism, and even slid down a huge stomach that farted as you passed through the end.... Just to name a few!
Loved it all!
Can't wait to go to the museum with you:) Looks like you all had a blast!
