CrossFit

has been kicking my butt!
We I started going to Crossfit Battlefit on Saturday. Two of my friends just started going about the same time and convinced me I should too! It's only been two times, but having friends around helps the motivation and keeps you going!
Now being one that hasn't done much exercise to speak of, besides the occasional bike ride, walking to the park, strolling the mall, or playing out back with the kids, I am a hurting unit!
Sunday I could barely walk and I hated even thinking of going up or down the stairs, or even doing much walking! Today, it has been quite the task to just get my arms over my head or put my jacket on. Not to mention those stairs again! It's amazing the muscles you don't even know you use when you get up from a chair or the floor after changing a diaper or tying shoes. It's kinda comedic to see, but D will get his turn very soon!

So lots of running, many pull-ups, squats with kettle-balls, and tons more squats... we will see what the Thursday morning workout brings...
Even thought it is torture, I still like it and am going to stick with it!
And even better, D will be joining me WHEN he is through with his cold!
