Sport Night

Tonight was the first night of soccer practice for Grant! He was so excited to play again this year! He moved up to the 6-7 year old group so I will be interested to see what he thinks. It was a change compared to the football practices we had been going to. Not in a bad way but it was a lot shorter and there were no bugs! But with no bugs means.... COLD!
It is starting to get chilly here at night! We went with sweatshirts and long pants but on Thursday I think we will be needing to dig out the stocking caps, mittens, and even a blanket or two! Brrr! All Sylvia wanted to do was cuddle with mom! I guess I can handle that!
The first games start this Saturday. So just when we thought we had freed our Saturdays up... our first game is the same time as Hawkeye kickoff. Thank goodness for our DVR, we will just have to hurry back after!
So as I was just mentioning, our football season has came to an end. Well, it came to an end on October 23. That was the Vipers last game. They lost the first round of the playoffs. It was great watching Cole play, learn so much, and have fun, but I'm not too disappointed for a short break. I say break because he says he wants to play spring tackle football... which starts in January or February maybe... Deep Breath... OK, I think I may be ready now. ;) We have a potluck football party this Saturday early evening for all the boys to celebrate what a great job they did all season! Cole is excited for that and it will be nice to see the coaches and other parents again.
I wonder when Sylvia will feel the need to start signing up for all the fun activities Maricopa has to offer... gymnastics, dance, soccer, oh My!
