It's that time again

Time for Soccer!

Grant had his first game on November 13th and finally this weekend we start up again. They had two weeks off for some reason, so it was just practice. He is playing on the 6-7 year old team. It will be a little different than the 4-5 year old division last spring. He seems to still love playing and is still learning new stuff every practice!

It is a nice change from football, a lot little less intense and just a little more laid back. Don't get me wrong, I loved football and since the Hawkeyes blew their season, am looking forward to Cole playing again this spring. Also, instead of dragging everyone out in the blessed heat and swatting bugs, like we had to during football, we now have to sit in the cold for two nights a week while Grant practices. Where's my warm snuggie? Game days should be fairly nice though since they are usually late morning!
I wish we could be more of a fun color. May look a little better in photos, don't ya think (and bring out Grant's dark eyes, haha)! Eh, light gold, I guess it will do. Smile pretty G!
