Don't Forget to Say Hello!!

We have had a break through!

Grant has been going to speech for close to two years now.
He has been struggling with this phonological processing disorder for some time, and I am proud to say that I am finally hearing lots of improvements!
We were working on his homework the other day and he was reading it to me.
He clearly said the G sound (guh) AND the C sound (kuh)!
When he would try and say them before, the C would sound like a T and his G was almost silent on every word.
His S sounds are greatly improving as well! Those used to sound like an H.
He is also doing very well at saying his words in full. He used to leave off a letter or two, the phonogram at the end of the word, or he would not have a sound for all the letters. He would just skip it.
I know with all the slang talk and the way a lot of us adults talk, it makes it hard for younger kids to correctly enunciate and learn to say their words correctly.
So, we are very proud of all the hard work Grant has done with his speech and school! He has come a long way since his first days in speech!
Great job buddy!
