Winter Weather in AZ

I know none of you Iowans wanna hear it, but we sure had quite the storm down here! It felt like our house was going to blow away!

It has been raining off and on since Monday which isn't good when there isn't anywhere for all of it to go. It has been thundering here and there which makes for an unhappy dog. And last night there was a tornado warning. We had a little lights flicker but that was about it for our area.
The Barrett-Jackson Car Auction is going on in Scottsdale right now and they had a lot worse weather than we did last night! There were damaged cars and 80 mph winds. A tent had gotten loose and blew in the middle of the 101 and it had to be shut down!

We were supposed to have more rain today but the sun is finally out and there is a little wind yet. Saturday this is all supposed to be done! I love it when it rains and storms down here, but I really hate it when we have a swamp in our back yard!

Mother Nature, next time, please spread yourself out a little more instead of dumping on us all at once!
