I can see a big difference in raising her from the boys. I don't remember the boys being so naughty and independent so early! That came closer to when they were three. I'm pretty sure that Sylvia has definitely entered her Terrible Twos! All she says is 'No' when asked a question even if it is something she wants. She is starting to scream for no reason but to hear herself. And when I say scream, it is a high pitch, blood curdling, window breaking scream! She likes to smack her brothers because they are 'too close' to her. Throwing toys, being mean to the dog, and the tantrums are just the beginning of the list! She is a super monkey and climbs on anything and everything! She has always been a climber but she now goes higher and tests you even more! I recently noticed that she has 2 chipped teeth as well. I'm not sure when that happened, one while we were in IA and the other sometime before maybe, but they never bothered her and she will lose those baby teeth... eventually.
Now don't get me wrong, we do discipline/time outs, but you can only do so much for a kid that age! I did find that if I start to count, by the time I say ONE, she is quiet! So I do have that going for me!
We got a lot of FUN to look forward to!
aaah! I can't believe she will be two either! I have been so lucky to see her grow this past year or so. We are so blessed to have you all in our lives and can't wait to celebrate Sylvia's 2nd!
