We got to meet Jeff Burton and have him sign our hats in the CAT tent. We found a home for our other tickets too! Daron's friend, Josh and his wife, ended up coming along for a good time! Melissa and Jeff made it too! We all had a great time!
I also got some snapshots of Elliot Sadler, Matt Kenseth, and Kurt Busch giving their little speeches in their hospitality tents. We just missed Mark Martin... by about 5 minutes! Rats! We picked some lug nuts from Mr. Hamlin and Mr. Burton! Kinda neat! They know grace Daron's racing shrine and gear in the garage! ;)
We got Pit Road tours which were pretty neat! Got to see all the pit boxes and some of the cars were already sitting out on pit road. It was pretty neat to see all the tires lined up and ready and some of the pit crew members were sitting out getting things ready!
These are for you dad! Mark's car, pit box and tires! Wish you could have been there!
