We picked out 3 pumpkins for the kids. 2 regular size ones for the boys that we would carve and a smaller one for Via that we later decided we would paint.
Sylvia's pumpkin was first! Syli and I were going to a play date with some friends of mine and I thought it would be necessary for D to tag along since it was Syli's first time decorating a pumpkin! (Yeah I know she is only 1 and could care less but as you will see, she knew what she was doing!)
We went over to Tera's house with Pumpkin in TOW and got all ready to paint! The other kids were 2+ so we had S sit on the picnic table to try to keep her mess somewhat contained. As we watched the other kids we decided it would probably be a good idea to take her clothes off and let her paint in her diaper! Dad had to show her what to do since she had never even been in the same room with paint before!

The more she watched D with the brush, the more she wanted to try it! Syli is my little artist just like her brother Cole! She loved painting! A little on herself and on the mouth didn't seem to bother her at all, in fact she was trying to paint herself and the table!

After the kids were done we hosed them off outside! They were all messy but had so much fun! It's nice to just let them go with the paint! As you see, Gren had it in his hair and Zach's hands were completely blue! Sylvia would have probably been a lot more colorful had we let her really go to town, but this was good for her!

We have 2 colorful pumpkins! All done and then to clean up in the sink! I didn't think S would like to be hosed off outside so we took her in! It was a fun morning!

You are so brave! I am too chicken to try painting with Colton
