Well I will start with Wednesday the 25th. Kelly flew in to visit us here in AZ. Sylvia and I drove up the the airport and waited to pick her up! Usually I'm running late but we were right on time, in fact we were there about 10 minutes before Kelly came through! It was so great to see her! Last time we got together was in June 08 and Kelly had never met Sylvia before!
Kelly's visit went fast but we had a great time! The boys were so excited. I didn't tell them we would be having any company so they went wild when we came in!
Wednesday night we went out to eat at Teakwoods and even sat outside! The weather was perfect!
Thursday Daron was still off work so we took advantage of that and spent some time just the 2 of us. Daron kept Sylvia at home and had a daddy day! Kelly and I took off to Tempe and went to South Mountain.
You can drive through there or you can 'hike' and follow trails. There are many different trails and each one is different lengths and different difficulty. I'm not sure which trail we followed but we hiked for between 1 and 2 hours! It was so nice to get out and do something. I had never been up there before so it was all new to me as well for Kelly! Scenery was so neat even though a lot of it was desert.
We also went to Ikea and went out to eat a few more times. The last day we had with Kelly we went to Mills Mall and to the Phoenix Zoo. It was all a great time and can't wait for Kelly to come down again!!
