Our Visitors

Well we are a little behind on blogging as usual, but we wanted to share about our company we had recently! and a few more posts tonight if I have time! :)

First of all, Daron had the entire week off! YEA!
March 15, Cass, Kim, and my mom came down to visit! We were so happy they could all come and stay a week! On Monday Cass and Kim took a little road trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona while Grandma Patty stayed here and got a little one-on-one time with the boys and Sylvia! They sure enjoyed that! Definitely got lots of 'Little People' time (Grant's favorite)!



Everyone was back Tuesday night in time to go out for St. Patty's day! We had a babysitter come over for the kids, and the rest of us went up to Arena for some dinner and drinks! Of course there was green beer and great food! It was a good time and I think by the end of the night there was one or 2 ladies (won't name names) that were a little tipsy!


Wednesday was a shopping day. The boys didn't 'have' school so we had a fun day for them! We made a quick run through Ikea and a few other shopping centers and ended up taking the boys to a movie! RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN was the pick for the boys! It was a good movie and Via even sat quietly through it! Haha! We came home and had a marathon cooking session. Well Kim, Cass, and my mom did anyway! I made some Strawberry Daquaris and the ladies prepared some of Daron's favorite dishes to freeze for us to eat later! Ham balls, cheesy potatoes, and meatloaf are the favorites! :)


Thursday was pretty much spent in Scottsdale. The ladies went up early and came back aout the time Daron and I were heading up there. They did some shopping and WE were going to meet KAT VON D!!! She was going to be at Barnes and Noble for a book signing!! I was so excited! Sylvia came with us. I will write more about that later! :)
Friday was the day everyone was heading back up to Iowa. We ate breakfast at Sunrise Cafe before saying goodbye. Grant was going back too! It was his time to spend with his dad for a month. I hated seeing him leave, but I think it goes fast. We seem to be a little more busy when he isn't here since we try and make Coles time without his brother special and do more things that are for his age. Stuff that Grant is a little bit too young for. We miss Grant and it is SOOOO quiet without him. I think I will try and get our bedroom painted though while I only have 1 child to run around and then just Via to tend too! :P
We are counting down the days til Grant comes home, but I know that he enjoys his time up in Iowa!
Well we are just so happy that Kim and Cass could join my mom and spend their spring break down here in Arizona! We had a great time and I know that Daron would say that too, even being in a house with 4 women!!
We miss all them as well as little Grantcy! COME AGAIN SOON!!
I'll be heading up to Iowa next week actually for a wedding shower and Bachelorette party!! I'm excited but I just don't want to get too cold! I'm really enjoying our 80-90 degree weather right now!
